Among the many roles women embrace, caregiving for children stands as one of the most powerful roles. In celebration of National Women’s Month, Glory Reborn, in partnership with SM City Cebu and the Ramon Aboitiz Foundation, Inc. (RAFI), launched the Women’s Wellness Fest (WWF) 2025, held at the SM North Wing Cebu. The event focused on empowering women, particularly mothers and caregivers, by promoting their mental and physical health, nutrition, and overall well-being.
The event was designed to uplift women in their caregiving roles and to help them prioritize their own wellness. Glory Reborn, a key partner of RAFI’s Project SINAG (Sustainable Interventions for Nutrition and Growth) Cebu City, emphasized the importance of holistic wellness, with Glory Reborn representatives sharing, “At Women’s Wellness Fest, we will celebrate different aspects of wellness: physical, psychological, intellectual, social, occupational, and spiritual. Women will have the opportunity to learn practical strategies to prioritize their wellness in a fun and engaging way.”

WWF 2025 offered a comprehensive program, featuring expert resource speakers, interactive booths, and activities for women and children. RAFI hosted a booth dedicated to early childhood care and development (ECCD) advocacy, while the Kids Corner offered fun, educational activities for the children.

For Inocencia B. Tambolero, a City Nutrition Scholar of Barangay Sambag II, the event was meaningful, and she looks forward to sharing her learnings to her women constituents wherein they provide informational and educational engagements to empower mothers to also show and share their talents and capabilities. “Kinahanglan gyod ang babe himsog ug pirme ampingan ang lawas kay mao ray atong puhunan sa atong pag-atiman ug pag-abag sa atong pamilya,” she shared.

Kids have a blast at the RAFI Kids Corner, filled with fun and exciting activities, while their mothers and caregivers join the wellness sessions.
The event brought together key community members, including those from the organization’s partner communities in Cebu City namely: Carreta, Mambaling, and Sambag II. Additionally, Barangay Nutrition Scholars and members of the Cebu City Nutrition Network (CCNN) were invited to participate.
