More than 750 pre-school and elementary students participated in science shows and workshops conducted by The Mind Mobile in the Municipality of Samboan last Nov. 27 to 29, 2017.

Participants of the activity came from schools and day care centers supported by the Ramon Aboitiz Foundation Inc.-Dolores Aboitiz Children’s Fund (RAFI-DACF).

The Mind Mobile, a project of The Mind Museum which is being supported by RAFI-DACF, is a mobile science show and workshop facility of The Mind Museum that aims to bring experiential science and fun-filled science shows and workshops to remote communities where resources and opportunities are scarce.

RAFI-DACF supported this project under the Grants Program in 2016 believing that opportunities for quality learning should be equally accessible to children in the rural areas.

The Mind Mobile will be serving children from RAFI-supported areas and communities for the next 10 years. It is open for partnerships with other private and public groups and organizations in Visayas and Mindanao to make “Science Comes Alive” in different communities.
