‘Duyog Ni Caloy’ Media Launch at the Casa Gorordo Museum

Guru Ads and Marketing Consultancy, in partnership with PayPerClick.ph , the internet advertising agency that owns and manages one of Cebu’s biggest online, and the Casa Gorordo Museum, launched the first single of social media sensation “Caloy” Kihl on December 9, 2017, at the museum’s Azotea.

Caloy, a Swedish musical artist, writes and performs Bisaya songs. His most recent covers include Bisan Pa and Pero Atik Rah. His Facebook Page, Caloy, has about 30,000 followers with a 500,000 average views. His music and performance generated a lot of engagement and interactions among young Cebuanos and non-Cebuanos who speak the Bisaya language.

Caloy will be branded as “Duyog Ni Caloy” under the management of Bruce Cortes Bollozos, the managing director of Guru Ads.

Bollozos said that want Caloy to be known as someone who performs with emotions.

In addition to that, Caloy, too, wants to write and sing “hugot” songs.

In the media launch, Caloy sang the Filipino Christmas song Sana Ngayong Pasko by Ariel Rivera and his favorite Bisaya song Hahahasula by Kurt Fick.

The event was attended by over 25 media representative and bloggers.

Caloy has been residing in Cebu City for almost a year. He came from a musically inclined family in Sweden and have been from different places of the world.
